Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans) is a tropical evergreen native to the West Indies and Indonesia. Nutmeg is recorded in history as early as the seventh century and various parts of the tree were used by ancient Arabians, Greeks and Romans as a spicy aroma and is used to warm to the body and stimulate the mind.
